Ayurveda hair removal
Unwanted hair growth (facial and body hair) can cause embarrassment, and its a bigger problem for women.
This is called Hirsutism or frazonism, which is the excessive hairiness on women in those parts of the body where terminal hair does not normally occur or is minimal – for example, a beard or chest hair.
This refers to a male pattern of body hair (androgenic hair) and it is therefore primarily of cosmetic and psychological concern.
Hirsutism is a symptom rather than a disease and may be a sign of a more serious medical condition, especially if it develops well after puberty.
Hirsutism affects women and sometimes men, since the rising of androgens causes a male pattern of body hair, sometimes excessive, particularly in locations where women normally do not develop terminal hair within their puberty (chest, abdomen, back and face).
The medical term for excessive hair growth that affect both men and women is hypertrichosis.
Hirsutism can be caused by either an increased level of androgens, the male hormones, or an oversensitivity of hair follicles to androgens. Male hormones such as testosterone stimulate hair growth, increase size and intensify the growth and pigmentation of hair.
Ayurvedic (natural) method to remove these excessive (unwanted) hair growth permanently
Ingredients required for removal of unwanted hair permanently:
It is available in ayurvedic store and is an yellowish-white cosmetic paste made from ground bark.
It is a distinctive feature of Myanmar (formerly Burma) seen commonly applied to the face and sometimes the arms of women and girls and is also produced in thailand.
This powder comes from Thanaka tree which is also called as the Elephant Tree in Myanmar, and is made from hard wood with a yellowish color. It gives off a distinct pleasant odor.
Thanaka tree’s extracts are known for their nourishing and hydrating components and whitening compositions.
The skin lightening content from the tree is found to be higher in the stem than the bark.
Facial product manufacturers usually use the crenulata stem, grinding them in order to produce thanaka whitening powder. Cosmetic industry however finds it more economical to use the leaves of the tree instead for obtaining the extracts needed in the production of beauty products as it is more economical and the process is less harmful to the thanaka tree.
Thanaka leaves are smoother and produce a much better texture as a cosmetic ingredient.
Other benefits to skin by using Thanka Powder
- Tightens and tones your skin.
- Controls excessive facial oil, draws out impurities and reduces acnes
- Softens and cleanses your skin.
- Protects your skin from polluted air and harmful UV-rays.
2.Kusuma Oil (Safflower Oil; Sanskrit: कसुम्भ|IAST: kusumbha)
It is a thistle-like annual plant grown in areas with seasonal rains.
Safflower seed oil is flavorless and colorless, and nutritionally similar to sunflower oil. It is used mainly in cosmetics and as a cooking oil, in salad dressing, and for the production of margarine. It may also be taken as a nutritional supplement.
Safflower seed is also used quite commonly as an alternative to sunflower seed in birdfeeders.
Most commonly available version of this oil in market is the one high in monounsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid) and is s lower in saturates than olive oil.
Safflower flowers are occasionally used in cooking as a cheaper substitute for saffron, and were sometimes referred to as “bastard saffron“.
