Osteo arthritis of knee is a degenerative condition of the knee joint affecting either a single joint or both. Mostly seen in aged, especially in women after menopause. Overweight, injuries of knee joint and certain diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever, gout will cause early degeneration leading to Osteo arthritis. Lumbar disc prolapse is the slipping out of the disc material situated between the lumbar vertebral bodies of the spine causing severe pain and restricted spine movements. Sciatica is a neurological condition including pain and numbness of the lower limb originating from the lumbar region radiating through the course of the sciatic nerve to the toe. This is caused by the irritation caused on the sciatic nerve due to the compression at the lumbar nerve root or by the piriformis muscle.

Spinal canal stenosis is the narrowing of spinal canal causing compression of the spinal cord at different levels of spine leading to neurological symptoms including pain, numbness and loss of movements according to the level of stenosis.
