Gray hair Treatment Ayurveda
For many people, hair turning gray or white can be very embarrassing, particularly when it happens before a certain age. However, there are some natural Ayurvedic treatments that can help to remedy premature white hair and restore natural hair color in some cases. However, these remedies have not been tested or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), so consult your doctor before starting any of these treatments, especially if you have allergies or medical conditions.

Sachs, author of “Ayurvedic Beauty Care, ” a boiled mixture of curry leaves and coconut oil can be used as a topical treatment to help return some color to white hair. To make this mixture, combine ¼ cup curry leaves with 1/8 cup coconut oil in a small saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat. Remove the saucepan from heat and cover. Set aside until the mixture has cooled to just above room temperature. Gently massage a small amount of the mixture onto the scalp with a towel around your neck and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse your hair with lukewarm water and shampoo with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. This treatment can be used daily as long as it doesn’t bother your scalp or skin, and unused portions of the mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for 48 hours.
