Ayurveda Massage Course
Ayurveda massage (abhyanga), Shirodhara and Svedana Training Course
This program provides 35 hours of hands-on training in abhyanga (Ayurvedic Massage, one and two practitioner) along with Shirodhara (warm oil treatment over the forehead) and Svedana (Ayurvedic herbal steam therapy). Participants will work in groups of three giving and receiving therapies. An additional 10 hours will be required outside of the workshop to complete certification.
An Ayurvedic Massage and Body Therapist is a specialist who works with massage and other therapies which are individualized to the nature of the person and nature of any imbalances that are present. Ayurvedic Body Therapies are a significant part of the healing process in Ayurvedic medicine and are becoming popular in clinics and health spas around the world.
Due to required practice following the program, students are credited with 45 hours of study. Participants will work in groups of three giving and receiving therapies. This program is a prerequisite for the Pancha Karma Specialist certification.
Pre-requisites:
Completion of Ayurveda Foundations Course or completion of our first module in AHC1. Our Foundations course can be completed through distance learning and takes approximately one month to complete.

Enroll in two Massage and/or Body Therapy courses at the same time and receive a 10% discount on both courses. Enroll in three Massage and Body Therapy courses at the same time and receive a 20% discount on each course. Enroll in 4 or more courses and receive a 25% discount on each course. Enrollment is complete when registration forms are returned signed and deposit payment for all courses is made. This offer excludes Foundations and Pancha Karma Specialist Certification courses (Foundations special with a Body Therapy Course still applies). Discount will not include new programs added after registration has been completed.
